Codex Office Solutions are hosting a breakfast meeting for their suppliers and business partners in The All Star Suites Croke Park, Drumcondra at 9am- 1pm on Thursday the 26th of January. The event plans to look to the future and how new opportunities can be created in the Office sector industry, an industry which depends so greatly on the people that are working in it, the product ranges that are available for customers, the ability of businesses to utilize the latest technology advances and the setting of high business standards.
When Siobhan O Connor, Managing Director of Codex Office Solutions, struggled to develop a budget for 2017 due to uncertainties in the marketplace, it was decided it was time to gather the troops. 2016 was a year of two halves – the first half full of energy and activity and the second half a “hard slog” reminiscent of years passed which could be compared to bad day out in Croke Park for any county team. With this in mind, the team at Codex decided to organise an event at the start of 2017 looking forward to the year ahead and to discuss the challenges and opportunities for SMEs.
“I sent out a brief note to our suppliers before Christmas advising of this event and the response was incredible, the Codex ethos has always been to support Irish and local where possible. In times of change, a gathering gives people the strength and insight to keep moving forward” – Siobhan.
Conall O Móráin, presenter of Today FM’s Sunday Business Show will chair the event. The guest speakers include Minister of State for employment and small business, Pat Breen T.D., Gareth MacHale, Head of Euro Interest Rate Trading, Bank of Ireland and Siobhan O’Connor Managing Director of Codex Office Solutions.
Minister Breen will discuss the benefits and supports available to the SME community and the large part it plays in the Irish Economy. Gareth MacHale will look at the short, medium and long-term projections on currency and Siobhan O’Connor MD of Codex will review business trends, investments and setting standards in business to create opportunities in changing times. Neil Mc Donnell will attend from ISME outlining the benefits available to help our SMEs in such changing times.
