Codex Announces Partnership with Barretstown

As part of our core value of Integrity at Codex, CSR is extremely important to us and always will be.

We have been engaging with local initiatives and non-profit organisations across Ireland for many years, and this year, we are excited to announce Barretstown Children’s Charity as our Codex 2023/2024 charitable partner.

Barretstown Children’s Charity

Barretstown is a non-profit organisation that offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families who are living with serious illnesses – supported behind the scenes by 24-hour on-site medical and nursing care.

As our Dedicated Charity Partner, Codex will work closely with Barretstown to support its work in bringing magic and fun to the lives of children battling illness and their families. Our 2023/2024 charity partnership will see Codex employees engaged in various initiatives, including fundraising for Barretstown, volunteering opportunities at the Barretstown Campus in Co. Kildare, and taking part in Barretstown events, such as the upcoming Domino’s Amazing Race for Barretstown on September 14^th.

Codex Visit to Barretstown

To mark the occasion, Codex CEO Patrick Murphy and members of the Senior Management Team spent the day at Barretstown Headquarters today to capture a true picture of what the organisation does for children and families battling illness.

A big thank you to Emily Finn and the Barretstown team for your warm welcome. It was a pleasure to be given an eye-opening tour of your facilities and see first-hand all you do for the Barretstown Campers.

Codex Launches Barretstown Fundraising Week

Codex is currently running its Barretstown Fundraising Week to celebrate this amazing charity partnership, with employees participating in several activities designed to raise awareness and funds to support Barretstown. The first of many initiatives that will be taking part over 2023/2024, we are excited to keep you updated on our CSR activities over the coming week, so stay tuned for more!
