At Codex, we believe great workplaces should be accessible and supportive for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with AsIAm, Ireland’s leading Autism Charity. Together, we aim to help businesses create more inclusive and empowering environments for Autistic employees and the wider neurodivergent community.

Through this collaboration in 2025, Codex and AsIAm will work to drive greater acceptance of Autistic individuals in Irish organisations, fostering environments where neurodivergent employees are not only supported but celebrated.

About AsIAm

AsIAm is Ireland’s leading Autism charity, dedicated to building a society that is fully inclusive and accepting of Autistic people. Through advocacy, education, and workplace support, AsIAm helps businesses foster cultures that recognise and accommodate the diverse needs of Autistic employees. Their expertise ensures that workplaces are better equipped to support Autistic individuals in reaching their full potential.

A Commitment to Workplace Inclusion

Through this partnership, Codex and AsIAm will provide businesses with the tools, insights, and practical solutions they need to create more inclusive workplaces. Codex has already worked extensively with schools, universities, and organisations across Ireland to provide specialist facilities such as quiet spaces and sensory-friendly furniture. In collaboration with AsIAm, we are expanding our range of office products to support employers and employees in designing workplaces that reduce potential sensory barriers.

The modern office - often busy, noisy, and brightly lit - can be overwhelming for many Autistic and neurodivergent employees. Challenges such as unpredictable noise levels, harsh lighting, and social interactions can impact well-being and productivity. As part of this initiative, Codex will introduce a new range of products specifically designed to reduce sensory overload and enhance workplace accessibility.

Codex Partner with AsIASm to Support Neuroinclusivity

“We’re proud to partner with AsIAm and support people with Autism and neurodivergence, says Patrick Murphy, Codex CEO. While awareness of neurodivergence is growing, most Irish offices are designed for neurotypical people, presenting unique challenges for employers. Through extensive research, we've gained a better understanding of the sensory differences neurodivergent employees face. We’ll use this data to develop products and solutions that help all employees thrive. Ultimately, we hope our partnership with AsIAm fosters a workplace where Autistic people feel understood, accepted, and supported in their careers.”

Welcoming the partnership, AsIAm CEO Adam Harris says, “We’re delighted to welcome Codex as a corporate partner of AsIAm. In recent years, Codex has become a true champion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, supporting organisations in education and other sectors with innovative products and solutions. Through this partnership, we hope to leverage their expertise to help more Irish workplaces cater for all employees.

We’re also looking forward to partnering with Codex at the upcoming 14th Autism Europe International Congress in the RDS in September.”

Kate Nelligan, Codex’s Furniture and Interiors Category Manager, adds, “Our research highlights that Autistic people, and other neurodivergent employees can struggle with sound, lighting and social interaction in the workplace. Our furniture team will be working with AsIAm to identify ways we can help to address these specific areas in the workplace and help ensure a more inclusive environment where people can comfortably work and learn.”

Autism Europe Congress Sponsorship

As part of our commitment, Codex is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor at the 14th Autism-Europe Congress in Dublin this September. This global event will bring together researchers, professionals, advocates, and the Autistic community to share knowledge and promote best practices in workplace inclusion. At the event, Codex CEO Patrick Murphy will present Codex’s vision and efforts to create more inclusive work environments for Autistic employees.

Autism Europe Congress 2025 Codex Sponsorship

This partnership represents a significant step towards lasting change. By working together, Codex and AsIAm aim to ensure that Irish workplaces become more inclusive, supportive, and welcoming for Autistic employees and the broader neurodivergent community.

Stay tuned as we introduce new initiatives, insights, and strategies to help businesses across Ireland create environments where everyone can thrive.
