This prestigious award not only reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence but also highlights how our core values have played a pivotal role in attaining this recognition.

Codex has operated since 1979, with Patrick Murphy taking over the reins as CEO in 2019, having previously worked in the family-run business for over 12 years. With a strong team of over 90 employees and a fleet of 18 vans, we have witnessed 44 years of consistent growth, acquisitions, diversified products, and an expanding customer base that sees us making 5,000 weekly nationwide deliveries. Now Ireland's largest B2B office supplies and services provider, engaging with the Ireland's Best Managed Companies programme seemed natural, and we are delighted with the successful outcome.

In 2022 alone, we experienced a year-on-year sales increase of 30%, most notably in our office furniture category. This is something that Codex CEO Patrick Murphy and the Senior Management team credit to having company culture, values, purpose and people working together harmoniously.
  3. Innovation and Adaptability: Staying competitive in a dynamic market requires continuous innovation and adaptability. We encourage a culture of creativity and embrace new technologies to enhance our products and services.

In 2022, we were delighted to support 13 of our 85 staff members in completing diplomas and post-graduate degrees. We are pleased to be extending our professional development opportunities further in 2023.
